Shree Shahu Shikshan Prasarak Seva Mandal established in 1968 is a premium education institute located in Peth Vadgaon, (Dist-Kolhapur), which runs high quality knowledge centers from pre-primary school and high school to Senior Colleges and D.T.Ed. & B.Ed. College. The foundation stone of these institutions was laid by Hon'ble Mr. Vajaysinh Yadav Saheb who is the President of the institution and Vice President Mrs. Vijayadevi Yadav (Aaisaheb). Mr. Yadav Saheb believes that a strong educational background helps transform not just an individual but also his family, the society and the country at large.

Our founder's life has been living example of how one man's commitment for excellence and hard work can transform not only his own life but that of the whole surrounding society.

The institution has established many outlets in the course of time to establish excellence in educational institutions and impart knowledge which will build a student's character and equip him for the diverse challenges of today's world. Presently, the institute is imparting education to over 11,000 students in various fields.

Our School SVYEMS are committed to the all-round development of our students and hence various extra-curricular activities are organized round the year in our institutes.

Academic discipline with space for individual innovations, emphasis on life skill development of students, proactive team of faculty members and an inclination towards initiative for Industry Interface have been the salient features of the college. The institute works on an activity plan evolved out of last 45 years' experience or so and students' feedback.
